
Eze is a small medieval village east of
Nice. It lays on a hilltop facing the Mediterranean sea. It was conquered by the
Arabs 900 a.d. something. When Ludvig the XIV conquered Eze in 1706, he, as he
did in Nice, destroyed the old medieval castle.
