If you have seen the movie Ronin you may recognize the house in the background.
We went to the Nice 'Castle' the second day. Up the stairs
the road went up and up but finally we got to the view The houses you see on these six pictures is the old town of Nice. (If you look closely at the picture in the middle above you see the church that you saw earlier on this page) The hill where we were was actually in the middle of Nice and was the site of the old 'castle' that was tear down by Ludvig XIV 1706. He had conquered it 1693 and re-conquered it 1706. I think he got tired of conquering that castle so he decided to tear it down.
Suddenly I thought that I was in Cannes and not in Nice as I saw a film star but it was my lovely wife
On the east side of the hill was the harbor of Nice
We relaxed in the park and when we sat there a wedding party passed by us. Ausrine wanted to shout that we got married a week before but didn't.
